Your database passwords are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being saved. The encryption key is stored separately from the database. Passwords never appear in logs, API responses, or the UI after saving.

WebDBPro supports MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), MongoDB, and SQLite. Each database type uses the correct SQL dialect, identifier quoting style, and parameter syntax in the AI-generated queries.

Each database type has slightly different SQL syntax. MySQL uses backtick-quoted identifiers and ? placeholders, PostgreSQL uses double-quotes and $1, MSSQL uses square brackets and @param names. WebDBPro automatically generates queries in the exact format required by your connected database type.

Yes — you provide the host, port, user, password and database name for any remote server. SSL/TLS connections are also supported. Just make sure your database server allows connections from your WebDBPro server IP.

You bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter. Your key is stored with AES-256-GCM encryption and never appears in logs. You can switch models at any time from the header dropdown inside the app.

You are billed directly by your chosen AI provider for any tokens consumed. Your key is stored with AES-256-GCM encryption and never appears in logs.
